Ritz Katia, Architecte dipl. ETH SIA

Après avoir fait ses stages chez Mann & Capua Mann à Lausanne, Diener & Diener et Herzog & de Meuron à Bâle, Katia Ritz termine ses études  d’architecture en 2002 à l’ETHZ. Elle travaille ensuite de 2002 à 2006 pour Reto Zimmermann, Diener & Diener puis Buchner & Bründler à Bâle. Dès 2007, elle débute son activité indépendante et travaille simultanément et jusqu’en 2010, pour le professeur Jean-Paul Jaccaud, puis pour le professeur Dieter Dietz à l’epfl. En 2008, elle fait partie de la fondation de l’association des artistes de l’Imprimerie à Lausanne. Après un séjour à New York, elle rentre en Suisse et fonde en 2011 le bureau rk studio sàrl à Bienne et à Monthey.

 

Hauswirth Florian, Industrial Designer FH, SDA, SWB

Following a four-year traineeship as a technical model maker in a model and mould design office, Florian Hauswirth worked for five years a professional in the field – initially with small companies, later for three years as a product developer for the Vitra furniture manufacturer in Birsfelden, close to Basel in Switzerland. In 2006 he was given the additional opportunity to graduate in industrial design in collaboration with Vitra at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW). His professional skills as a design assistant were acquired working for Vogt + Weizenegger in Berlin and for Barber Osgerby in London. Both studios operate as co-authored teamwork practices, with their spectrum spanning the fields of focused conceptual work, space and the object. In 2007 Florian Hauswirth was a co-founder of the sustainable design collective Postfossil, which advanced to play a pioneering role in the design scene. After a long period of collaborative freelance projects, since 2023 Florian Hauswirth has now been a partner in the architectural office rk-Studio.
